Antonio hates Shylock but not purely because he is a Jew. He disagrees with Antonio's money lending to make interest. He irritates Shylock because he helps people pay off their debts to Shylock before they have to have a forfeit.

Antonio is a philanthropist that is doing good to others wheras Shylock differ from that . Shylock do business only for proft motive wheras antonio gives out money in christian courtesy that is without any intrest and brings down the rate of intrest in venice. antonio is a christian wheras shylock is jew...these are the main difference between antonio and shylock
