First, Antonio and Shylock are very different people and have very difficult culture but yet are very alike. Antonio and Shylock are very different because of culture Antonio is a Christian who hates Jews and Shylock is a Jew who hates Christians. Shylock has no friends and is a greedy money lender seeking revenge. Whereas Antonio has many best friends. His best friend was Bassanio.
