Hello Mate

Copper oxide is a weak base, and it easily reacts with HCl forming soluble copper(II) chloride and water. ✔When HCl is added to CuO a white precipitate of copper chloride is formed. ✔When HCl is added to MnO2 a greenish yellow evolves and leaves behind Manganese chloride.
