There are many algorithms for numerical design. I know that each algorithm has its own advantages and disadvantages. But I would like to know which of these is better for antenna design and analysis or high speed interconnect design or RCS studies. More interested in knowing about antenna design tool and RCS studies.
In my opinion MoM is best for antenna design. But the matrix is dense when compared to the matrix formed by FEM. In MoM Green's function is required which is a tedious task. FEM only discretization of the domain is required and handles inhomogeneous medium excellently well. So is it better to use hybrid algorithms?
