Gene structure in Prokaryotes and Eukaryotes :-

  • In prokaryotes, no nuclear membrane is present, resulting in the floating of Nuclear apparatus on the cytoplasm
  • Thus, the genes are scattered away in Prokaryotes.
  • In case of Eukaryotes, a organised cellular membrane is present. Therefore, the genes are bound inside the nucleus having a definite structure.
