Similarity between fedulism and CastSystem

Both the Caste and Feudal systems are social hierarchies, which means people were based in order of importance. Some classes were more important than others. The Caste and Feudal system both have the same amount of classes. Both the systems have four classes, the Caste systems classes are Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishya and Shudras. The Feudal systems classes are the Kings, then Lords, thirdly the Knights, and finally the peasants. A person's class determined their occupation and way they were treated. For example both the lowest classes were badly treated and discriminated against. Power was based on the class which you belonged to. There was no social mobility between the lower classes. This means if you are a peasant you will always stay a peasant.

Difference :

The Caste system was based on the religion of Hinduism, whilst in the Feudal system the Roman Catholic Church and in it's beliefs were followed. The highest class for the Feudal system was the King; but in the Caste system it was the Brahmins (Priests), although the king was part of the second tier the Kshatriyas. The Feudal system existed during the middle ages and when it ended it caused the end of the middle ages. The Caste is still being followed today in India.
