Now, coming to the river Brahmaputra and Indus, it is Brahmaputra which is longest than Indus.
Why so?
Total length of the Brahmaputra river is about 2,900 km. In India, it flows for 916 km.
And, the total length of Indus river (21st longest river in world, longest river of Pakistan) is around 3180 km, but it flows for 800 km. in India, Rest of its part flows though our neighboring country Pakistan with some part lying in Tibet (a Chinese claimed territory).
Though the total length of the river Indus is more than that of the Brahmaputra, but it covers less area in India as compared to the latter.
