Intensive subsistence farming is practiced in areas of high population pressure on land. It is labour intensive farming with the use of modern equipments. This farming is done mainly for the self consumption and in the case of surplus food only it is sold.
In Commercial farming there is the use of higher doses of modern inputs .This farming is done mainly for the purpose of commerce.
