Answer:

In the past, article 370 gave Kashmir the status of autonomy state. According to it, the states had their own rules, security, and flag. India could only make decisions in matters of defense and foreign affairs. After revoking article 370, India has ended the special status of Jammu and Kasmir and made it the part of the main country. By revoking article 370, Indian has canceled the special status of the Jammu and Kashmir.

Part 12, Article 370 gives special status to Jammu and Kashmir. It was Included in Constitution of India on October 17, 1949. It empowers the state to draft its own Constitution. Article 1 and Article 370 of the Constitution applies in the Indian state of J&K. It restricts the Parliament Legislative power in J&K.  Article 35A authorizes the J&K legislatures to clarify the State’s Permanent residents and their Privileges.

The Government of India in August 2019 revoked Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and reorganized Jammu and Kashmir into Two Union Territories, which are to be governed by the lieutenant governor and unicameral legislature. It has been said that this will bring normalcy in the valley. As in Valley, there is a lot of infiltration of terrorists.
