Main difference betweenmultiprogramming and time sharing is that multiprogramming is the effective utilization of CPU time, by allowing several programs to use the CPU at the same time but time sharing is thesharing of a computing facility by several users that want to use the same facility at the same time.

so frnd u know that both of them are operating systems and multiprogramming performs multiple program at a time with a user whereas time sharing shares it's functions with other users as well
