Here is your answer...

Subsistence agriculture is the production of food primarily for consumption by the farmer and mostly found in less developed countries. In subsistence agriculture, small-scale farming is primarily grown for consumption by the farmer and their family. Sometimes if there is a surplus of food it might be sold, but that is not common. In commercial agriculture, the primary objective is to make a profit.

In contrast to LDCs, more developed nations tend to have commercial agriculture with a goal to produce food for sale in the global marketplace called agribusiness. The food in commercial agriculture is also rarely sold directly to the consumer; rather it’s sold to a food-processing company where it is processed into a product.  This includes produce and food products.

Hope it helps you.

primitive subsistance farming is done on small patches of land using small tools like dao ....hoe e.t.c .the production is so small in this farming as fertilizers are not used. After one cultivation they move into other areas and allow nature to replenish the fertility.
commercial farming is done on large areas.the production is mainly for market.these are produced using hyv seeds..fertilizers..and various modern methods.the production is very large die to use of modern methods of agriculture.
