Answer:

Explanation:

                    Let’s start with the differences 1st okay….

Except for the fact that both happened more than half century apart (68 yrs)

While french revolution was against there own ruler (the king) who ruled over them for centuries whereas Revolt of 1857 was against foreign rule (who also had ruled for century till then).

French revolution was started by civilians ( especially because of a loaf of bread and inflation ) whereas revolt of 1857 was initiated by the soldiers or as they were known Sepoy of British India army.

And the result too differed where at the end of french revolution the king agreed for the republic and democracy (however twisted or hog washed it was) whereas in revolt of 1857 the rebellions were brutally crushed and even were fired by toeing up with tank ( तोप in Hindi).

And the middle class (newly educated part of the system) were the supporters of the french revolution in France whereas in British India those middle class intelligentsia weren’t the supporter of the revolt of 1857 as they believed that Govt. could actually help make India industrialized and educated (dreams of course :D

                                 Now about similarities….

Well both were initiated because of the atrocities and discrimination of the rulers.

Both were fought to get the freedom for the masses/common man.

Civilians were huge part of both of them and women’s were equally helping.

It was the turning point for the country and many other nations as it inspired many to come up and fight….

Well that’s all i could think of for now will edit when i remember more of it :)
