Rusting:
Rusting is the process of corrosion of iron due to the presence of moisture.
It forms a layer of oxide over the iron material (ferrous oxide) which is reddish brown in colour.
It is irreversible change.
To avoid it we coat the iron substance with zinc (galvanization), paint etc
Burning:
Burning is the process of combustion of a substance. It helds out with difderent colours' light and converts the substance into some other substance having different chemical properties.
It is an irreversible change.
