Answer:Sodium Carbonate is also known as washing soda (Na₂CO₃)

PREPARATION : Sodium chloride react with ammonina and carbom dioxide to obtain sodium hydogen carbonate .

Further on heating decomposes to form sodium carbonate.

USE:

*Sodium carbonate is used for removing permanent hareness of water

* used in the manufacture of glass soap and paper

SODIUM HYDROGENCARBONATE

* It is also know as baking soda

PREPAEATION:

Sodium chloride + Ammonia +water+ carbon dioxide -----> sodium hydrogen carbonate + Ammonium chloride .

USES:

* as an antacid in medicine to remove acidicity

*in making baking powder
