Compare the advantages of generating the energy from biomass then getting it from hydro power plant

(As far as I know) Because of the vegetation that is submerged under anaerobic conditions... it releases methane in large amounts.... hydro power plant But in biogas, it releases 75%methane, this methane is used for cooking purpose mostly Methane is used for cooking since it burns without smoke and leaves no residue..

biogas plant can be set up anywhere while hydropower plants can be set up in limited places only. biomass is 100% eco friendly. on the other hand, hydro power plant needs to destroy huge ecosystems while being set up. so biomass is better than hydropower.
