Compare the advantages of groundwater over water available from sources on the surface of the earth

Advantages of ground water :-

1) Doesn't evaporate easily.
2)Spreads out to vegetation and crops around it.
3) Doesn't provide breeding surface for mosquitoes.
4) Doesn't contaminate by human excreta.
