In Mendeleev's periodic table the position of hydrogen was not fixed since it has same properties as alkaline and halogen group but in modern periodic table hydrogen was given a different place on the top left corner.

In Mendeleev's periodic table the position of isotopes was also not detected but in modern since the elements were arranged by increasing atomic number the problem of isotopes were not there.
