Bacteria are prokaryotic, unicellular cosmopolitan organisms.

Explanation:

Bacterial cell:-

  • They have a complex cell envelope which is made of three tightly bounded layered structure:- glycocalyx(outermost), cell wall and the plasma membrane.
  • The nuclear region in the bacterial cell is poorly defined due to the absence of the nuclear envelope. The genetic material in nucleoid is not surrounded by a nuclear membrane.

Blood cells:-

  • The blood cells white blood cells(leucocytes) and red blood cells(erythrocytes).
  • The RBCs of mammals are biconcave in shape and lack nucleus. They appear red in colour due to the presence of haemoglobin.
  • The nuclei are present in WBCs along with other organelles. They appear colourless because they lack haemoglobin.
