The bishop and his sister were quite opposite of each other. As one side bishop was kind-hearted and helped others, on other side persome thought that people pretend to be ill so that bishop may help them.

Answer:

The Bishop and Persome, his sister, are strikingly dissimilar to one another.

The bishop is a nice man who wishes to assist all the destitute and underprivileged members of his church. On the other side, his sister is a stingy and impolite person. Persome treats the maid horribly and doesn't want her brother to lend a hand. She despises it when the bishop donates money to the needy and ill or provides housing for the hungry and homeless. The bishop makes an extra effort and sells his property in order to assist the populace. Even his salt and pepper cellars are sold to aid a woman, and he gives the prisoner his candlesticks.

So, we can say that the bishop is kind and does full justice to his character. his sister, on the other hand, is rather snobbish and not much of an altruist.
