Forest is his own place. There he could live as he wished to be and the forest is a vast area of natural site which didn't bore him. But in the zoo he is under the control. He has no freedom there. He can't enjoy his freedom there.

in the zoo, it lives in a ecosystem made by man. it doesn't really have to hunt for it's prey, food is as sharp as the sunrise. but hey, forest life is proved to be better, as life with normal physical activities help in their physiological benefits. there are many more advantages of forest life.
