Here are the contrasts between Plant cell and Animal cell :
(i) plant cells possess cell wall whereas animal cell have cell membrane only, they do not possess cell wall
(ii) food reserves in plants are stored in the form of starch where as in animal foods are stored in the form of glycogen.
(iii) there is formation of inorganic crystals in plant cell where as there is formation of organic crystals in animal cells.
(iv) locomotion in Plant cell and Animal cell very different.
