One of the largest hottest desert in the world is the Sahara Desert, in Sahara desert, there is no or very less rain. Whereas Ladakh is a region in Indian State, rock carvings are done in Ladakh which has the Indus river as the backbone.
The weather in Sahara desert is very hot as compared to the weather in Ladakh, in Ladakh its much cooler and people wear warm clothes in Ladakh. The rainfall in Sahara is approximately 24mm and in Ladakh its 85mm. 
The weather conditions in Ladakh are relatively better than the weather conditions in Sahara.
