Urban sprawl is another name for urbanisation. Urbanisation means the Migration of population from the densely populated cities to the low populated areas around the cities.
Urbanisation has a huge impact on the environment. Urbanisation leads to cutting down of trees which are called deforestation. Deforestation is extremely bad for the environment because it creates a disbalance in the environment. Trees are extremely important to us because they provide us with raw materials and oxygen and we should not cut down the trees at any cost.
