1:- wavelength of the incident solar radiation absorbed by the Earth's surface and the radiation re-radiated by the earth.
2:- Tanning effect produced on the skin by uv radiation incident directly on the skin and that coming through glass window.

a. Wavelength of absorbed rays is shorter than the ones which are radiated back
b. Radiations coming through a glass window is less as compared to the ones directly received because glass absorbs a bit of radiation
