Hey dear,

● Comparison I -
- Radiation absorbed by earth's surface has peak wavelength (400-750 nm). i.e. its peak lies in visible region of EMS.
- Radiation re-radiated by earth has peak wavelength (10 μm). i.e. its peak lies in infrared region of EMS.

● Comparison II -
- UV radiation is emitted by sun and mostly harmful to health.
- Ozone layer in stratosphere prevents most of these harmful rays from reaching the earth this protecting us.
- When these UV radiation falls on us through glass, these effects are less as compared to direct contact with skin.

Hope this helps you...
