Answer:

Alveoli is a group of alveolus (singular of alveoli) it is connected with blood vessel through which it supply oxygen to wherever it is needed.

Explanation:

Alveoli is the balloon like structure inside the lungs which is smallest sub division.

As we see , When we breath in we lift our ribs and flatten our diaphragm and chest cavity become larger as a result . This happens because air is sucked into lungs and fills the expanded alveoli .

Duing the breathing cycle , when air is taken in and let out , the lungs always contains a residue volume of air. So that there is sufficient time for oxygen to be absorbed and for carbon dioxide to be released.

Alveoli Facts :

If the alveolar surface were spread out than it would cover over 80 meter square ( 80m^2).

There are about 480 million alveolus at the end of bronchial tubes.

Nephron:

Bowman's capsule present in nephrons inside the kidneys are responsible for removal of urine or waster material or we can also say that it filters oxygenated but dirty blood .

SO AS A WHOLE :

Nephron works as a filter present inside the kidneys and Alveoli work as transport agent or we can also say that transporting and exchanging worker.
