Here, Paddy and Wheat, both are the most important food crop of India and consumed by majority of the population.  

Paddy is grown in the delta regions of South India in larger level.  

Wheat is grown in central and northern part of India in large level.

Paddy needs constant irrigation and rainfall nearly 100 cm.

Wheat doesn’t need much irrigation and can grow well with a moderate amount of rainfall nearly 70cm.

Some of the important places that known for the paddy growth in India are

Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, etc…

Some of the important places that are well known for wheat growth are

Punjab, Haryana, etc…
