Given : dimensions of four triangles

To find :  Which triangle is possible to construct

Solution:

Sum of two sides should be grater than 3rd side for a triangle to be possible

side lengths of 5 ft, 12 ft, and 13 ft

5 + 12 = 17 > 13

5 + 13 = 18 > 12

12 + 13 = 25 > 5

Triangle is possible

5 , 12 & 13  - Triangle is possible

2 , 11 , 15

2 + 11 = 13 < 15  ( triangle not possible)

3 , 7 , 11

3 + 7 = 10 < 11   ( triangle not possible)

4 , 8 , 15

4 + 8 = 12  < 15   ( triangle not possible)

only possible triangle side lengths of 5 ft, 12 ft, and 13 ft
