in the horizontal power sharing the three organs of government are placed at the same level. non of them have ultimate power . each organ check each other so there will not be any malpractice that is why they are also called systems of check and balances

it is based of the division of government power among different government such as state and central government. , each level of govt have certain specific power which are written in Constitution ,this division is based on the the hirachical order which means higher to lower so it's called vertical devision
