The Congress was a Hindu dominated party during its foundation in 1885. Since the Congress was an opposition to Muslim league it had secular ideologies unlike the Muslim league which was theocratic in nature and thus under the influence of Allan Octavian Hume, Mahatma Gandhi and Pandit Nehru, the Congress turned secular in nature.

But the Bhajpa or BJP or Bharatiya Janata party has been Hindu in nature, philosophy and ideology and supports the Hindu masses though not on an open basis but its ideology was affected by the philosophical views of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee

1. When it comes to ruling, Congress is running the party with its family members, and the high positions are owned by the members of the family. In the BJP, the MP candidates choose their leader to govern them.

2. Congress never implement big policies without thinking deep, but BJP is making big moves like demonetization quickly without any democracy fear.

3. The PM candidate never talks a lot in front of the media, but in BJP the PM candidate always connect himself with the media.
