Indus Valley civilization may have been a part of the Aryan civilization. The now extinct Saraswati river, mentioned in the Vedas, has been located in the Indus Valley area. For this reason, some even renamed ‘Indus valley civilization’ into ‘Indus-Sarasvati civilization’, ‘Sarasvati-Sindhu civilization’, etc.

The interesting points are:

The Vedic civilization used Sanskrit, while Indus valley seemingly inscribed a different script.

We have found only Indus valley currency, coins. (though the same may have been used in the Vedic Aryan civilization as well)

The Indus valley sites excavated imply large-scale commerce. (these cities may have been of the Vaishya class)
