Following are the major differences between life style of the coastal and mountainous area people:
1.The mountainous area especially of Himalayas, has very cold climate therefore people there have to bear extremely cold winters. Hence they live a very tough life whereas coastal areas have pleasant climate therefore they do not have to live a tough life.
2.The food habits are differnet.Mountainous people eat meat and hot food whereas coastal area people eat fish and rice more.
3.The dressing style are different in both these areas.Mountain people wear woollen and warm clothes whereas coastal area people wear cotton and airy clothes.
4.They also have different farming style.Mountain people do terrace farming and grow tea and apples etc. whereas coastal areas grow coconut and bananas etc.
