There is very wide gap in the living conditions of the privileged and the working people in the lower income category.

My family earns enough to provide for house maintenance, pay bills, buy monthly necessities, save some money, have entertainment, treat friends and relatives and live comfortably.

The domestic help earns enough to pay rent, have a tight budget for monthly necessities like provision, vegetables, bills etc. They do not have any support for investing in a house so they have to keep a monthly fixed amount for rent. Even regular necessities become costlier when prices shoot up due to market conditions. They have to provide for emergency medical bills, travel, sudden guests etc. They hardly make enough for regular sustenance. They still toil day in day out with no hope for a better future.

Their salary may increase or they may opt for more or alternative jobs to improve their income but inflation and other factors almost nullify any benefits that could accrue out of this.

As to education, there is a conscious effort among the working class to provide decent education for their children to avoid the same fate for their children as they themselves face today. Some even enrol their children in private schools to have a better impact.

The government should come up with supportive aids to improve their standard of living of the lower income people by supporting them with budgeted housing, support for financing the same, better employment opportunities. There should be some provision made in their employment for a secured future for them too.
