Indian agriculture is still traditional and dependent on monsoon but agriculture in Prairies is modern machinery based with artificial irrigation.   We use more labour in our farms but Prairies use more machinery involving high amounts of capital.   In India you can see small farms but large sized farms can seen in the Prairies.  We use low quality seeds and fertilisers but Prairies use HYV seeds and high quality fertilisers.
