The difference between meristematic tissue and cancerous cells are given below:

Meristematic tissue:

  • It comprises of undifferentiated cells that are in continuous proliferations so as to differentiate into a particular cell or tissue.
  • The meristematic tissues are a mass of stem cells that are in perfect metabolic conditions and are waiting to be assigned to a function.

Cancerous cells:

  • Cancerous cell are an abnormal mass of cells that undergo continuous proliferation.
  • Cancer cells are distorted cells who on continuous proliferation will build up a mass of cells that disrupt the body’s entire metabolism.

Meristematic Tissue

Explanation:

  • Differentiate between meristematic tissue and dangerous cells in animals
  • They are restricted on the growing points only. They can begin anyplace in the body and can likewise spread to different parts.Their division lead to development in plants
  • The stem cells in creatures or people are considered to have a similar capacity performed by the meristematic cells in plants
  • These meristematic cells are undifferentiated cells and are link of proceeded with cell division which is a same function performed by the the stem cells
