Disadvantages of primitive subsistence farming are:
1)depends on monsoon .
2)Natural fertility of soil and
3) suitability of other environmental conditions to the crop grown.
Advantages of primitive farming is that it is cost effective. The reason is that it does not require the huge investments as would otherwise have been needed by a commercial farmer. The implements that are used are easy to acquire and mostly not expensive.
