Comparison of the Mesolithic Ages and the Neolithic Ages in respect of the food, shelter and tools:

  • Characters / Age: Food

Mesolithic Age: The food of this age includes fishes such as Salomon, crabs, wild and raw honey etc.

Neolithic age: The people of this age did farming and hunted animals and consumed them as the food.

  • Characters / Age:  Shelter

Mesolithic Age: They cover themselves with leaves and animal skin based upon the season and they live in coastal regions.

Neolithic age: The constructed small house like structures.

  • Characters / Age:  Tools

Mesolithic Age: The tools used by them include axe, end scrapers, burin, blades etc which are all made up of stones.

Neolithic age: They introduced much innovation and came up with many tools with help of metals.
