Answer:

In a general sense it could be argued that all people (including urban dwellers) have some dependence on forests, at least for products such as timber and paper2. However, many people rely heavily on forests for their livelihoods. (See Table 1 for a summary of the various ways in which forests can contribute to human livelihoods.)

2 The perception by urban environmentalists of their dependence on forests is leading to major conflicts as they support policies, such as the creation of national parks and protection of watershed areas, which impact on the livelihoods of more directly dependent on forests.

Answer:

the needs of both communities are similar but the way of utilizing those resources are different.

Explanation:

people living in forest near aim commercializing the forest resources, they become familiar with the forest and lead a happy life by utilizing those resources for the only sale of living their daily life .for example they need food so they hunt animals and eat them and also they collect the timber and bamboo to make their shelter.

on the other hand the people living near the forest also take use of the forest resources in the similar way as tribal does, but the they use the production and sell the remaining for money because even using the forest resources they have to earn money to live(village people near forest).these people may for example collect timber and wood from forest use the them as fuel and also seek them to the industries which in turn give them money.

the only difference is that people living near the forest may sell the resources for money but the people living in the forest does not do so and they just collect the goods and utilize them for their daily life.
