Occupational structure is the classification of the population on the basis of the work done by the people in a particular area. Occupational Structure and Development are strongly linked to each other. It is noticed that underdeveloped and developing countries have a greater amount of their workforce in the Primary Sector. However, Developed countries tend to have a greater number of people working in the secondary and tertiary sector.
That's the link between Occupational Structure and Development. Thanks!
