Parasitic mode of nutrition is a type of nutrition in which parasite live inside the body of another organism or on the surface of the body and get nutrition directly from the host organism . Examples include lice and tapeworms.. In symbiotic mode of nutrition both organism are benefited while in parasitic mode only one organism get benefits. Example for the symbiotic relationship is the lichens and fungi, rhizobium and the leguminous plants, Anabaena and the azolla etc.
