compare the physical properties of diamond and graphite

diamond is white and graphite is black.
the refractive index of diamond is 2.4 but graphite is not much refractive.
diamond is costly but graphite is cheap.

it is colourless transparent substance which is very much lecturers it is the hardest substance known it is very heavy it burns to form carbon dioxide and is only composed of carbon it does not conduct electricity and it is a non metal

it is a great black Opaque object a substance which is soft and slippery to touch it is a conductor of electricity and it burns to form carbon dioxide it has a very high melting point
