Hello mate ✨

i) In the first case, the two resistors are connected in series.

So the, equivalent resistance, R=R1+R2

R=1+2= 3 ohms

By applying Ohms law,

I=V/R

I=6/3

I=2A

now,

P=I²R

P=2×2×2

P=8 W

ii)Now, the two resistors are connected in parallel, Therefore the potential difference will be the same.

Now, P= V²/R

P= 4×4/2

P=8 W
