• Any ordinary laws need to be passes by both the the houses. But in case of difference the final decision is taken in a joint session in which the members of both the houses sit together. Because of the larger number of members, the views of the lok sabha likely prevails in such a meeting.

• Lok sabha exercises more powers in mine matters. Once the Lok sabha passes the budget of the government or any money related laws the Rajya sabha cannot reject it. The Rajya sabha only delays it 14 days or suggest changes in it.
