Sultanate period of Delhi was dependent on Muslims laws. The laws of Islam and Shariat were strictly followed in Delhi sultanate. Specific tasks and duties were assigned to ministers. The whole crew of minister worked in a very systematic and well-planned manner.

The strong establishment and policy-making structure emerged into a powerful administrative system of today's political structure. Delhi sultanate was at its peak and admired for its strong administrative capabilities.

Although over time the Delhi sultanate lost its strength yet it has made a powerful impact on the present Indian political structure.
