- Women have had major developments in various fields of the society during the 19th and the 20th century with some aspirations not fully achieved to date and others being initiated.

- women in the 19th century had been denied a lot of their liberties due to cultural and religious beliefs which had no logical grounding.

-During the 20th century, affirmation efforts were instigated which led to dismissal of certain ideologies that were found retrogressive and now women can for instance study in school with same privileges as men have.
