THE STOMACH

The stomach coats to the food with a mixture of acid and digestive enzymes to help break the four down further .A layer of mucous protects a stomach lining from begin damaged by the acid.

The bottom of the stomach is able to contract which have to speed of the process. When the food broken down sufficient the stomach releases its contents into the duodenum.

THE SMALL INTESTINE

The small intestine is categorised in three parts: the duodenum begin the first,Jejunum second and the ileum and the final part.

When food entered the the the pancreas releases enzymes to help breakdown fat, protein and carbohydrate.The gall bladder releases by which bile which has been produced by the liver to help futher break fats down into a form that can be absorbed by the intestine.
