ormation of gametes is carried out by a process called gametogenesis. Gametogenesis is of two types, spermatogenesis and oogenesis. The main difference between spermatogenesis and oogenesis is, the process of formation of male gamete which is sperm is called spermatogenesis, which occurs in seminiferous tubules.
