Metal are –

Malleable, Conductive to heat and electricity, Ductile, Lustrous. So, the characteristics of most of the metals include that these are ductile, conductive to electricity as well as heat.

The metals are also lustrous and malleable.

Non-metals are-

Non-malleable, Not ductile, Non-conductors or less conductors of heat and electricity, Non-lustrous

hope it is helpful

Metals : metals are good conductors of heat and electricity.

Non-metals : non-metals are insulators/bad conductors of heat and electricity, except graphite which is a good conductor of electricity.

Hope this helps you.
