the properties of metal are:-

1) metals are malleable and can be beaten into sheets.

2) metals are ductile and can be drawn into wires

3) metal are good conductor of heat and electricity.

properties of non metal are:-

1) non metal are usually not malleable

2) non metal are usually not ductile.

3) non metal usually doesn't conduct electricity and heat.

Explanation:

above given informations are some of the properties of metals and nonmetals usually these properties are not necessary sometimes non-metals too conduct electricity and heat example graphite. and usually metals are soft example potassium and sodium therefore if more information is needed please contact and message me if in detail above information is given upworthy.

felt really nice to help you . hope you got your answer !

Answer: The properties of metals and non-metals with respect to:

(i) Malleability - metals are malleable they can be hammered down to shapes, but non metals break down when hammered.

(ii) Ductility -metals are ductile they can be hammered down and pulled to make thin wires, but non metals cannot be they becomes powder when hammered.

(iii) Conduction of heat and electricity - Metals are good conductors of electricity so they are used in all electrical purposes. Non metals do not conduct heat or electricity so they are used in cookware.
