in hydra, reproduction is by budding. when hydra matures a thing called bud is formed outside it's body.this bud grows up into another plant and then separate from the parent.
but in Ameoba, cell division is done to reproduce. the cell is split into two and the single nucleas split into two. newly formed cells r called daughter cells.
